How to calculate gold prices
1. Divide today's gold price by 31.1 to get today's gold price per gram.
2.Multiply by the fineness of the gold. Divide the Karat by 24, then multiply that number by the gold price per gram.
example:
10KT = 10/24 = .4167
Gold price $1000 = 1000/31.1 = 32.15
32.15 X .4167 = 13.39 per 10KT gram.
